英語(yǔ)詞組也是考研英語(yǔ)要掌握的一部分，可以提一定的高英語(yǔ)水平。

1. draw up

草擬；折疊；（使）停下；排好隊(duì)伍；

[例句]They agreed to draw up a formal agreement.

他們同意起草一份正式協(xié)議。

2. dress up

打扮；穿上特殊服裝；（使）裝扮成另一種樣子；為取樂(lè)和假扮而穿別人的衣服；

[例句]You do not need to dress up for dinner.

你們不必特意盛裝赴宴。

3. drop by

順便來(lái)訪；

[例句]She and Danny will drop by later.

她和丹尼一會(huì)兒要來(lái)坐坐。

4. dry out

晾干；（使）變干，（使）干涸；<非正>（使）戒（酒、毒等）；

[例句]He checked into Cedars Sinai Hospital to dry out.

枯竭；（使…）干涸；<英>擦干碗碟；<非正>住口；

[例句]As the day goes on, the pollen dries up and becomes hard.

6. drop off

減少；落下；送下車；不知不覺入睡；

[例句]I must have dropped off to sleep.

7. drop out

離開，退出；掉出；脫扣；違世；

[例句]He'd dropped out of high school at the age of 16.

8. fall behind

落后；下降；退后；逾期（付款等）；

[例句]Put on a spurt, or you'll fall behind.

加把勁，不然你要落后了。

9. fall out

[例句]If you turn the envelope upside down, the key will fall out.
